Followbacks, Activity & Queue

Last updated on Apr 24, 2025

When you’re growing with Upleap, knowing what’s happening behind the scenes helps you make better decisions. That’s where your Followbacks, Activity, and Queue tabs come in. Each one gives you a detailed look at how your growth is progressing, what’s working, and what’s next.

Followbacks

This section shows you who’s followed you back and from which Targets. It’s one of the most useful ways to track how well your targeting is performing.

If your followback rate is high, it usually means your content and Targets are aligned. If it’s low, it may be time to swap out a few underperforming ones.

Need-to-knows:

  • Followbacks are recorded only after Upleap unfollows the user

  • That typically happens two to four days after the initial follow

  • You’ll need to give the system a little time before seeing new data

  • A followback rate of 10% or higher is strong

  • Anything under 5% usually signals that the Target isn’t a great fit

Reviewing this regularly helps you focus on quality over quantity.

Activity

This tab logs every action Upleap performs on your behalf. You’ll see:

  • Each follow and unfollow

  • The exact time of every interaction

  • Which Target triggered the action

Use this to track consistency, identify patterns, or understand why growth may have shifted. It’s especially helpful when testing out new strategies or tweaking your targeting.

Queue

The Queue is where you can see the users Upleap is preparing to engage with next.

Here’s how it works:

  • Users scheduled for follow or unfollow are listed here

  • If you remove one, Upleap instantly replaces it with a new one from the same Target

  • If you delete a whole Target, users already in the Queue will still be processed unless you remove them manually

It’s a hands-off feature, but checking in now and then keeps you informed.

The takeaway

You don’t need to monitor your dashboard obsessively, but these three sections can be incredibly useful when you’re refining your setup or trying to figure out what’s moving the needle. A quick review once in a while is all it takes to stay in tune with how your account is growing.
